Denis and Robin Dücker of Tripoli announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Katelin Jo to Adam Joseph Marshall. Adam is the son of Lynn and Kathy Marshall of Dana and the grandson of Hellen and the late Lyle Marshall of Jefferson.
Katie graduated from Tripoli High school in 2011 and will graduate with a degree in early childhood education from Hawkeye Community College in May of 2015. She works as the lead toddler teacher at the Blackhawk County YMCA in the Child Development Center.
Adam graduated from Jefferson-Scranton High School in 2011. Adam is pursuing a bachelors degree in accounting at the University of Northern Iowa and participating in the UNI CPA review program. He recently completed an accounting internship at Clifton, Larson, and Allen in Cedar Rapids and is now working in an accounting position at Environmental Lubricants Manufacturing in Grundy Center while finishing his degree. He expects to graduate in May 2016, and has been offered employment at Clifton, Larson and Allen at that time.
The couple plans to be married June 6 in Dike.
